Youth Neighbourhood Small Grants

Ideas that connect neighbours!

The Youth Neighbourhood Small Grants (Y-NSG) Pilot offers grants up to $500 to youth (ages 12-24) living in Cloverdale, South Surrey, and White Rock. Anyone with a project idea that brings community together can apply, no experience necessary! The Y-NSG is designed by youth, run by youth, for youth.

There are two ways you can volunteer, get involved, and get experience for your resume or school applications!

Start a Project:

You or a group of friends or family can apply for up to $500 to help create an activity or project which will bring neighbours together. Past community projects have been things like movie nights, craft kits, care packages for people in need, virtual art or fitness workshops, cooking classes, hangouts for LGBTQ2S+ youth, and more!

Join Our Committee:

Are you interested in growing your leadership, marketing, and event planning skills? We are looking for youth to join our Y-NSG committee to:

  • spread the word about the project

  • go over project applications and approve them

  • help bring these fun ideas to life.

No experience necessary!
