For 2SLGBTQIA+ Youth and allies
This event is being held on the stolen and traditional territories of the Semiahmoo and Kwantlen First Nations people who have stewarded this land since time immemorial. We seek to honour and uphold these ongoing relationships to the land and its stewards as we work on these territories.
Our annual Queer Pride Prom for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth is back this summer on July 30th!!! Come celebrate Pride and 2SLGBTQIA+ identities with a dance & dinner party! ✧ This is a safe, sober, inclusive event held at the Youth Space of South Surrey + White Rock (1845 154 St in Bakerview Park.) Allies are welcome to attend to support their LGBTQ2S+ pals, but please be mindful this is an event for LGBTQ2S+ youth.

This event is FREE!!!! We just require youth to sign up for a spot, so we can keep track of numbers for catering & safety purposes. As well as capacity limits. RSVP: By Friday 25rd July
Guidelines
Safe and sober: This means no alcohol, drugs, or weapons.
Inclusive: This is an anti-oppressive space – respect, folks! Oppressive attitudes and behaviours including but not limited to misogyny, transphobia, racism, fatphobia, ableism, and general bigotry are not welcome here.
Confidentiality: We will make sure that your information is kept confidential; you’re welcome to use any name you like when signing up either at the door or online, as long as you are able to tell it to us at the door.
Media consent: We’ll be taking fun pictures during the event! All faces will be concealed upon distribution, unless verbal or written consent has been obtained. If you are 19 years or older, you may provide your consent in person on the night.
Security: We take safety seriously. If there are ever concerns about the event at any time, please let any of the staff know.
